Housing Matters
If such an event should occur where you need to arrange the installation of a keysafe and provide a third party with access you can:
1) create the Keysafe code yourself and record this on Mosaic. Further guidance on recording key codes on Mosaic can be found here. Practitioners who do not have access to Mosaic should record this on IRIS5 in the 'technician activity box'. You then need to advise the individual/carer/ relevant contact (if not onsite at point of installation) as to the code. The technician will then install the keysafe and use the code you have provided to set the combination.
2) The number you create needs to be a minimum of four digits, it is recommended between 5-7 characters including one letter should be used with no duplications, no two digits the same, for example the code ‘1066’ would NOT be acceptable.
3) You should avoid using any combination of numbers relating to your client, such as their date of birth, or sequential numbers for instance 1234.
