Updating the call out database
Purpose
This procedure describes the actions to be taken to update the call out database.
Responsibility
All staff
Process
The call out database contains details of all visits that have been requested and those attended by the Response Team and each appointment attended by the Installation Team. The database provides a complete summary of visits and phone calls which are used to provide statistics as required.
Updating the database – Installation Team
- A new job sheet should be created on the database for each new appointment.
- Record the details of the equipment installed and any protocols to be followed.
- Directions to the property and any special instructions recorded for anyone else visiting the property (i.e. warnings or parking instructions).
