Partnership working

Safeguarding children requires multi-agency cooperation and CSFH works closely with many agencies in order to deliver services to improve outcomes for children and families. These documents set out the agreed protocols for joint working with partner agencies in children’s and adults services and other council departments.

Children's needs are not static and cases may move between Early Help Services and CSSW as concerns escalate or risk reduces.  

CSFH has two protocols with Early Help Services setting out the criteria for escalating cases up to CSFH and stepping cases down to Early HelpStep Down To Early Help Procedures from CSFH when a case is closed.
