Services for children
The CYPDS will work with children and young people aged 5-18 in order to facilitate their engagement with education and support them to take part in extra-curricular activities.
The service will work in partnership with schools and Camden Learning to help children access school based SEN provision to support the child's education within mainstream schools.
The short breaks panel will agree packages of support within the community to help children access leisure and other opportunities.
Where children have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan the service will work in partnership with the Camden SEN service to assess the child's needs and implement and review their plan.
Children with complex health needs requiring residential care will be referred to the Complex Needs Panel, a multi-agency forum that agrees suitable residential placements that meet all the child's needs.
Further details can be found on the Camden SEND local offer website.
