Work with children aged 0-5 will focus on providing support for families during and following a diagnosis and where parents have concerns about their child's development.

The CYPDS will always carry out a full child and family assessment for any child under the age of 5 who is referred to the service in order to fully understand their developmental needs and ensure families are offered the support they need.
