Partnership working

Partnership working

Social workers need to work in close collaboration with IROs and the professional network in the child protection arena in order to manage risk and safeguard children.

Camden Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) is the organisation that oversees CP systems in Camden, ensuring multi-agency working and providing leadership and guidance.

The main safeguarding partners are children's social care, the police and health services but other agencies such as schools are expected to co-operate in order to safeguard children.

The CSCP is the forum for joint discussion and decision making between agencies in order to ensure an integrated response to safeguarding and child protection issues in Camden and to oversee the child protection system in Camden.

Further details on the work of the CSCP can be found on the CSCP website.
