Multi-agency Public Protection (MAPPA)

Multi-agency Public Protection (MAPPA)

It is a statutory requirement for local authorities to have Multi-agency public protection arrangements (MAPPA) in place in order to manage ex-offenders who continue to pose a risk to the public.

A representative from CSFH will attend MAPPA meetings and share relevant information with social workers.

The MAPPA policy sets out the MAPPA arrangements for Camden and explains the role of the MAPPA representative and social workers.

The MAPPA representative for CSFH will liaise with social workers to share important information about individuals known to MAPPA who have a link with children and families who are known to CSFH in order to assess and manage risk.

The MAPPA representative is Jacqueline Fearon: ext: 4330
