Child sexual abuse

Child sexual abuse

Child sexual abuse (CSA) describes a number of different types of harm arising in various contexts and can have a long-term impact on the well-being of the child.

The Lighthouse provides a multi-agency response to support victims of CSA and exploitation.

The Lighthouse works in partnership with practitioners in order to support for victims and carers who have experienced all forms of CSA. This includes supporting victims through the criminal justice system.

The Lighthouse can also provide expert advice and training to professionals and agencies on CSA, supporting practitioners in best practice for early responses to CSA disclosures and CSA investigations.
