Good partnership working with families is essential for helping to build relationships and agree and implement plans to improve outcomes for children. This requires a high level of contact with children and families.

Where families are originally from the EU, parents will need to apply for settled status to remain in the UK.

The EU settlement status procedures provide practitioners with the information needed to support families to make an application for settled status.
