Online safety

Online safety is a key component of safeguarding children; the internet is a universal feature of children’s lives encompassing everything from education to socialising, but can pose many risks, for example from its content, the contacts children can make and through a negative culture of cyber bullying.

Camden’s multi-agency online safety policy provides information for social workers on helping to keep children safe online, including action to be taken to deal with specific online risks.
