Induction and probation

Induction and probation

Induction is a planned programme of events and learning designed to introduce new workers to Camden and prepare them to carry out their role.

Probation is the period at the beginning of employment where workers are assessed and supported to ensure they are able to meet required standards and fulfil their role.

The following induction training is mandatory and will be part of a worker’s induction plan on joining Camden:

MOSAIC training must be taken up within 3 days of joining Camden; more details are available here

Staff must attend training in Camden's practice model offered by the Camden Centre for Relational Practice.

Corporate  e-learning modules must be completed within 6 weeks of joining. These are available here

New social workers must undertake Early Help induction so they are aware of the Early Help offer and the processes for stepping down cases to Early Help. The induction training is run monthly and can be booked onto here
